In earlier versions of my website, i used to have a section for portraits.i love doing these, but i've taken a loooong break from doing so. i plan on getting a bunch of them together so that i can add the section back to my website.now that i started again, i cant wait to do the next.(finding models is always part of the fun!)

I really need to update more often.

I've been pretty flaky with this blogging thing.I've had a bunch of shows that have passed, and i haven't included them in the blog.
Alot of cool stuff is coming up soon.I just sent some work to a gallery in scotland(owlandliongallery.com), and a few pieces to florida...for art basel.I'm really excited to take part in this exhibition.(Thanks to Francesco Lo Castro for inviting me to take part!) I'll be showing with alot of my favorite artists for this show.

sorry that i havent updated in awhile.i just finished doing comic con, and now i'm playing catch up.i have a bunch of stuff in the works.i'm working on a show at the conference room(in the hills of beverly), with ryan pratt in september.2 man show...fun.also, i will be in the project room for a show in september in atlanta, ga at foundation one gallery.that's a crap load of art i have to do in a short amount of time, so i apologize ahead of time for not updating this thing.

i bought this old plaster statue about 7 years ago.i didnt have a plan for it at the time, and it just sat around getting dusty.i was about to throw it out a month ago since it was so badly damaged, but i decided to keep it.i knew i would make use of it somehow.i named her madeline.

here's a piece i did for alverno college by the way of an ad agency called the yesmen.it's a portrait of jazz singer paula west...


and, i'm in another show at the venice contemporary next month. The theme of the show is based on business criminals, and the role illustration played in exposing these criminals throughout history.there will be a book that will be signed on the closing night of the show with images from the show.more details when i hear them...
