problems, and stuff.

i've been trying to get logged into blogger for the past week, but i've been having problems on both safari and firefox. i haven't been able to post anything because of this. for some reason, safari just let me sign on. i hope whatever problem i'm having with this site are over!

i was asked a while back to contribute to a book project called "the ark project". each artist was asked to illustrate an animal to be rescued on the ark. we weren't allowed to discuss anything about the project until now.(the book is coming out soon).below is my contribution...a vulture.

cd cover

i mentioned this in a previous post, but i thought i'd post an image of the actual cd and vinyl cover with my painting from the band AS TALL AS LIONS. i was fortunate to have my copy signed by the band...
the cd also comes with a poster inside.
i was really excited to see the album at amoeba, so i posted a pic of that too.

i've had a sketch of this lying around for awhile, and i had time tonight to go to finish on it...

album cover/village voice

i've posted the top image before, but i never mentioned what it was for. since the album is coming out next week, i can reveal that it is an album cover for the band AS TALL AS LIONS. i'm pretty excited to have my first album cover. a special thanks go out to sherri, blaze, and of course the band!

as mentioned in my previous post, these are my two pieces that i did for the "crazy for cult" show at gallery 1988.

year 3

if you're in the L.A. area, and you don't know about this show, you should definitely check it out. the shows at 1988 are always pretty fun, and this one promises not to disappoint. as always with their shows, arrive early just in case there is a line.
i've been pretty busy as of lately trying to get ready for comic con.this will be my third year as an exhibitor, and i'm just as excited. i'll be selling prints and other stuff while down there. i hope to meet some of you there.
i'll make sure to mention my table number before the con so you can find me if youre going.
